About me:
A 15 year old yung African American brother named Raymond Lee Washington initially called the gang the Baby Avenues in an attempt to emulate older gangs and the activities carried out by the Blacc Panthers,a movement with which he was fascinated with.Da gang renamed itself the Avenue Cribs and then took on the niccname Baby Cribs because of the yung age of the members.The name Crips was first introduced in the Los Angeles Sentinel newspaper in a description by crime victims of young men with canes,as if they were crippled (though there is some discussion that it may have initially been a simple spelling mistake).The name stucc. Stanley Tookie Williams,generally accnowledged as co-founder of the Crips (Community Revolution In Progress), started his own gang called the Westside Crips. The Crips became popular throughout southern Los Angeles as more youth gangs joined;at one point they outnumbered non-Crip gangs by 3 to 1,sparking disputes with non-Crip gangs including the L.A. Brims, Athens Park Boys,the Bishops, and the Denver Lanez. The Crips eventually became the most powerful gang in California.In response,all of the other besieged gangs, including the Pirus, formed an alliance that later became the Bloods. Along with homies, Williams and Washington created the initial intent of continuing the revolutionary ideology of the 1960's. These aspirations were unattainable because of a general lacc of political leadership and guidance. Washington and Williams were never able to develop an agenda for social change within the community and instead became obsessed with protecting themselves from other gangs in the community. By 1971 the gang's notoriety had spread across Los Angeles. The gang became increasingly violent as they fought to expand their turf. By the early 1980's the gang was heavily involved with da drug trade.
Shyt where to start Cuzz;I wuzz born two ina half months early,being a pre-mature baby if u didnt know that.Sixx dayz after my arrival,I beCame very siCC and doCtorz Couldnt find anything wrong with me untill they ran some test.It Ceemed that my Colon,large and small intestents were badly infeCted beCause of my early arrival;so along the bumpy road,I had to go through some major ass surgery suCh az 5k blood tranfusions,11 surgeryz,slipt into an drug induCe Comma for 3 dayz,spent 5 months in hospital,and alomst died 4 tymez Cuzz.Also beCause I Came into this world early along with birth defeCts,doCtorz told my mom I wouldnt be able to walk,talk,feed myself,and everything else regular people do but I had flipt on em.1 day day in the hospital,I had a tube up my nose beCause I Couldnt breath without it but for some reason,I pulled it out so doCtorz put it baCC up there but I pulled it out again.So I C im put on this earth for a good reason and my blessin iz Comin but I gotta be patient.
